I am looking into exhaust for my daily driven EP3 and have it narrowed down to 2. Comptech or spoon? From what I understand the Comptech is 2.5" as opposed to the T1R/Spoon 2.25". Also, if I get a Hondata which exhaust is going to produce better results? I Just was wondering if anyone knew which was prefered for use with Hondata and would produce the best overall reults for a daily driver.

i just installed my Apex Worldsport. sounds great, even better at WOT!
i also have a spoon N1 ill try it with the apex piping and see how it goes.

I have the Spoon N1 now and I will be getting the T1R next month.

 

I don't drive an Ep-3, but I have a Spoon n1 on my 00 Si. It is loud, but I am running a testpipe. Comptech is really quiet, good for a daily driver. I prefer the way the n1 looks. I say go with spoon.

Based on an experience that my friend had with Honda-Werx, I would get the exhaust from IPS or R&D. My two cents

 

i went with the t1r b-pipe and spoon axleback and i love it. the sound is awesome. the t1r b-pipe is more for top end power. with hondata, the exhaust set up after the cat doesn't really make that much of a difference. the real power comes from the race header but word has it that it can make you car run lean with hondata.

 

no big deal. just an observation. as for your friend, not every sale can go perfect unfortunatly. customers are free to choose whom they purchase from.
