im new to the boards and also new to the honda scene.

i just purchased a complete sohc zc engine from k watanabe or kwc.com

when i disassembled the engine it looked kind of weird but im not sure if the engine really suppose to look like that.

can you guys pls check the engine out. i have some pix in imagestation.

it looks fine to me but since you got it apart..... you might as well clean it up some, take the pistons out soak them for 24 hours in lacquer thinner (it will clean them up real good) then you can change the main bearings and rod bearings while your at it (40-50 bucks for those) get some new gaskets while your at it, slap it back together, and you got a nice running motor Note: might want to sand/smooth downt he inside of the block (where the pistons go).
