Default ok fine ill try here too...

im having a problem with my ignition on my ZC swap. it is a dohc zc with a 90 crx si engine and main harness transplanted into a 1980 civic wagon. i keep getting a code 15 for faulty ignition output signal, even after i swapped the dizzy for a known working one, i still get this code. and get no spark. i have checked and doube checked and triple checked my grounds, tested all connections with a multimeter, everything is within factory specs.

im stumped, along with several members on H-T, and this is the only forum i havent asked in.

if anyone can help me, you can have the $ 1 that is in my paypal account.

this may be kinda dumb sounding, but did you try resetting the ECU? i just did a swap in my car and came up with a code 4, the tdc - all i had to do was pull the fuse to reset the ecu and everything runs normal now. the other thing is that perhaps the computer is no good? my brother was just having the same code on a hatchback (without a swap) and the code was saying the distributor or the computer. maybe you need a new computer.

the ecu has been reset every day since i got the code. yeah i know, sometimes its the simple stuff, but ive gone through nearly everything except the new computer thing. hopefully it isnt that.

have you tested continuity between the dizzy and the input to the ecu to check wiring integrity?

There are 2 white wires in the harness that goes to the dizzy. If you have them switched around, you will get no spark.(I have done this before) Try switching the 2 white wires and see if that works.
