im goin to paint my vx wheels red w/ polished lip. but what color red should i paint it???

Is your car red?...if so paint it the same color red as your car. If you really want red wheels I think a darker red would look good. A bright red would look toyish.

Don't know..go to Rotawheels.com and look it up..... and then print out a picture of the wheel. Next go to Auto Zone or Advance auto parts and try and match it up with some of the paint they have. There is wheel paint at these places but most only sell gunmetal,bronze, white, and normal alloy color. You of course could use paint thats made for interior or the car itself... but I don't think it will turn out the way you want it too. I think you should choose another color to paint your wheels or find someone that can powder-coat them the color you want.

 

i have axcess to auto paints too.so i was thinkin of painting them with some dupont paint

 

search for niccuhles on this board, he did an awesome DIY with his HX wheels

yea it says he used duplicolor "banner red" car paint,..here is a picture (i hope he doesnt mind that i posted the picture here) ,..the wheels look pretty badass

yea, they are hella badass, I doubt hell mind, he likes to show off his nice *** wheels haha. But I also heard that "baron red" was really close to the red on gab wheels.

 

i dotn mind . too bad i don't ahve the wheels anymore...i miss them, i hate rollin on webs with 55 series tires. My fenders and tires like to fight alot.

 

how bout silver? i think you need to have a crazy *** car to pull off red rims.....like a ferrari. IMO

 

I think he's already decided on RED just what kind.
