hey guys, i really need your help here. my clutch burned out on me today and I had to tow my car to a friends shop and I was wondering waht kind of a clutch should i get? I want something strong for street. Stronger than the OEM clutch but not too strong because i am looking to sell the car in the next 3 or 4 months. I have had centerforce in mind, exedy, CM. any other ones you guys know of and hte prices please? thanks a lot guys, i appreciate it a lot.
Well if you have blown the clutch out. You need to see the results of your blown clutch. If the clutch gave.....where u can not drive it... most likely your flywheel is done also. If going to sell, buy stock parts. For a clutch i recommend centerforce. If you want pedal pressure, get an act extreme pressure plate, with a stock disc. Hey just sell the car

how much would the centerforce run for or the exedy one? how much do lightwheels also run for? lets say from honda price and a light weight flywheel aftermarket? what brands in the flywheels. dont have too much knowledge of L. W. Flywheel brands/prices. thanks

That's what I got and I am very happy with it.

like they said b4, go with a centerforce dual friction or exedy.
hopefully you can just get your flywheel resurfaced
and be good to go

Ive got the act stage 3 which looks like the disc up there and the xtreme pressure plate. It grabs really nice. Hard enough for the track but not extreme enough where its a problem on the street, after a week i got used to it and feels stock except the pedal is kinda hard to push in. wouldnt recommend a stiff pressure plate if your going to sell it soon.
i just had the same problem with my clutch that it wouldnt move at all 2. we replaced it over the weekend but i didnt need a flywheel but i went ahead and replaced that 2 i replaced mine with a organic disc or something like that. good luck in switching the clutch. wont be much fun lol wasnt for us
its not hard just takes long time plus it will save you about 300-600$ for labor..... my uncle owns a race mech shop so he helps me out with my car so i have no labor cost it just takes long to do a clutch only if you could press and a button and it popped right out
lol i will post pics of my clutch(old one) and then my stage 3 and look how bad my clutch exploded there is no fibre left on it only the metal part and the fibre looks like shredded paper..... lol wasnt my fault
