Default Are these good prices?

I was thinking about buying the GREDDY EVO2 fully stainless steel cat-back system $489.95, Greddy 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Header $309.95 and an AEM cold air intake $159.95. Would that be a good starter?? How much would these actually effect my car, performance wise?

4.3 hp
you want to feel something in your car? get cams, they will be much cheaper then the bolt on's and add much more power.
but please search, each one of the items you listed has been beaten to death.

lol, no not 4.3 exactly but in that range. bolt on's dont do that much, and the prices dont justify the performance. start with cams and then work your way outward.

Yeah, he's right. For that much money, save it and turbo it. That's the only way to GO!!!

You would be surprised at just how efficient stock Honda parts are.

I thought Greddy was supposed to be like "Top Dog" when it came to bolt-ons. Ya they are kinda exspensive but arent they worth it most of the time, cause its stock know and i smoke all the kids at my school so far. I havent lost yet. So wouldnt the bolt-ons just make me waste them even more???

You have much to learn. I don't know what you're referencing as "Top Dog" but I'd look into companies like Hytech, SMSP, and Toda for the most effective bolt-ons. As far as intakes go. An intake is pretty much no different from any other intake with a few exceptions, notably the Comptech. If I were you, I wouldn't do anything to it right now, but I would join the SCCA and get into some local autocross events. In time, you'll learn that smoking all the kids at school is rather meaningless.

Well, since you have a 98 integra LS, IMO the best bang for the buck mod for now, instead of spending all that money on those boltons, is to put in a B16, or Type R tranny It'll make a LOT more difference than intake header and exhaust combined. Im pretty sure you can find a used one.

Why not just buy a used intake, header, and exhaust? You'll either spend a lot less money on the parts you listed, or spend the same amount and get much better parts.

I agree Nothing wrong with used, as long as you take a good look at it when you pick it up. Its kinda iffy if you buy it online, more chances of getting scammed unless you get it from a person with a good reputation.

You're "Top Dog" of your school and smoking everyone with a stock LS?

*sad*

hold on to your money for a little longer and research. Just read random ish on honda-tech and read some articles at team-integra.net

I realize more and more how little I know, which is one of two reasons why my car is still stock. (The other being even if I had all the knowledge in the world, I'm still broke as shieeet )

just don't do anything you might regret later.

look for used parts . dont buy them over the internet and have somebody ship them to you , go check them out in person . you could prolly buy a used part for 50% less then buyin it new . learn young , save yourself some money
