hey... i been looking for a GS-R but can never find a good one and when i do find good ones they end up to have like 150000 miles or something... how many of you guys looked for GS-R but ended up with an LS.. do u regret your decision.. i know forstwhitedc4 looked for a gs-r for 9 months but ended up with a ls.. just looking for opinions

 

I wanted a GSR BAAD, but i couldnt find one just like you that wasnt beat to ****. I bought a '95 RS, and its pretty much stock besides my suspension mods and and i'm happy with it. I'm finishing up my turbo kit right now, and a turbo LS is MUCH funner than a GSR with bolt-ons IMO. so no, no regrets here

 

i looked for more than a year before i found a car, but was lucky enough to find a GSR, but i woulda been happy enough with a LS. i still plan on boosting, no matter whichever i was to get, i just wanted a B-series engine.

 

I wanted a GSR and ended up with an ITR. Does that count.

 

i finally after like a year is getting a car and every gs-r i find looks great.. great condition then BOOM 150,000 miles or somthing like that -__-/// i hope i find one!!!! i might have to settle for a LS and boost someday.

 

yeah, i was one of 'em. I wanted a GSR, but found an LS-SE for dirt cheap, so i couldnt resist and picked that up.

i wanted a ITR snice i was in 7th grade, snice school was next to the acura dealership, always wanted the lo-jack carboard on top of the car too. lol

Don't settle, you will be pissed that you didn't wait. I found my GSR after about 3 weeks of hunting around and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Low mileage, stock, and had factory warranty.

 

sorry to say I really wanted an Accord but stumbled on a Milano Red 2001 GSR with 15000 miles on it for $17000 and couldnt resist lol it was previously owned by a cop and it had I/E and a short shifter so i got lucky i think........GSR

hey buddy, im payin less than 500 every 6 months, im 18 clean record and under my moms insurance plan..... not that much if u ask me.

 

I am on my mothers policy and my car is like 80 a month to insure, full coverage. My mother and I both have clean records and I am 22.

full coverage? im 17, and i think im on the same policy...

its like 2grand a year.. full coverage versus 2.5 grand on the gsr....

80 a month? mine is exactly double that... **** U DUDE...how the...what the....

insurance costs depend a LOT on where you live.

there is no ******* way anyone can find that.. u are one lucky lucky person..

also yea insurence is a BITTTCHHHHH here in california i am driving my moms 4 door camary. like a LX and my insurence is expensive as **** i have a clean record and so do parents... farmers

 

i wanted a goddamn gsr but ended up buying an ls in good shape. Although i am thinking of either a turbo or just quitting the game. Too much money.

i live in the middle of no where in minnesota

 

I saved up from 3 jobs while simaltaneously searching for my gsr for damn near 2 years 'fore findin' mine. My parents spent the money from my first two jobs of sonic and chuckee cheese, which was about 1500$. I finally found my current job at 18 as a valet and saved up 3k and found a 97 gsr with only 55k for only 8100$. Woulda had a system too, but some damn thieves stole it before the guy actually sold it to me...
