Default Blowing Fuses

Hey whats up everyone? My friend just bought an 04 CBR600RR, and his tail light fuse keeps going out on him. He has tried putting a 30 amp fuse to replace the 10 amp but as soon as he touches the brake leaver it pops. The turn signils work fine but when he touches the brake leaver POP. So if anyone knows how to fix this problem or have any saloutin to this problem please let me know.

It sounds like either the wire between the brake light switch and the brake light has been abraided and is touching something metal, or the talilight/brakelight assembly has a similar problem. Somethin on the load side of the brake light switch is grounding out. Inspect all of the wiring between the switch and the light very carefully.
