Adjustable springs vs coilovers for my 91 DA, need some help
I need to update the suspension on my project car, a 91 Integra. I went the cheap route with KYB shocks and Tein springs, but that has left me with a slammed front end, which is getting crushed on everything. Not only that, the back end is substantially higher than the front, so it looks gay. I am not to the point that I need adjustable dampening, so I could work with the basic Tein coilovers, or something like the Skunk2 adjustable springs.
What I am really trying to accomplish is to have all the fenders about an inch above all the tires, a nice drop, but not killing my car on pot holes and driveways. Although I may go to a few SCCA Solo events, this car is still my dailey driver and must function as such. I am also trying to be as cost effective as possible, but dont want to buy the wrong thing again.
I would appreciate any helpful discussion between the two options I am thinking about, or any other ideas that are cost effective.
Thanks

get urself some Ground Control coilovers...im sure u'll be pleased with those, cause u can get GC to make them with whatever spring rates u want...for struts, either stick with ur kyb's if u dont have much money or upgrade to the koni yellows!
I've got gold line springs on my car with tokico blues and it handles great and it's not that low either... I think KYB makes all types of shocks like sport shocks and just plain old stock replacement shocks. Did you buy the Stock replacements? But a set of eibach or sprint springs and a good set of shocks should do you good...
good luck

So I can get adjustable springs with any spring rate? I never realized that, I always thought it would be somewhat limited.
Has anyone compared the ride between the adjustable springs with dampers vs actual coilovers? The guy where I will most likely be buying them really pushed towards the Tein basic coilovers, he said the adjustable springs would give me a really rough ride?
Thanks

I got the GC coilovers with the stock spring rates on my DA and I really like em, it was nice to when I drove up north and could raise my front end to put chains on
I've been on tokico blues, nothing bad to say about them, but those are blown now, so Im gonna put on some KYB AGXs and see how those are since I have heard good things about them
