Default Post pics of your McCulloch 5300k HID kit

I'm debating on getting this kit but I don't want it if its got any blue hue to it. In some pics I've seen they look white/blue. But others have described it as pure white in person.

Those of you that have it or have seen it in person what would you say best describes the color?

You should read up on HIDforum.com about McCulloch They are nothing but garbage... you are prolly just better off saving money retro-fitting a set of projectors

This particular vendor is good about warranting the kit. If I have problems I'll replace the parts then sell the kit.

I'll take my chances.

Actually the lights are white with a little bit of blue, the blue makes sure that the lights will not fade to yellow over time, but instead it will become even whiter over time. I have a lot of 5300K pics on my website, http://www.hidplace.com

In person do the lights look like OEM HIDs or do they look aftermarketish?

i would say OEMish because they do not have such a stunning color which will attract attention, they look like a low key HID kit

I guess I'll try them out and see how I like them. I originally wanted the 6000k because I wanted the white/purplish look like the Philips Ultinon bulbs but the McCulloch ones look way blue.

My only thing is that I don't want these to look "cheesy" or too blue. I want them to look like they are OEM hids or very close to it.

if you dont want that cheesy look, then the 6000K would be perfect!! they offer the best of both worlds, style and visability. I highly recommend them!

The 6000k pic you posted looks purpleish. Is that just the pic or do they really look like that?

my friend had that mcculloch kit on his RSX and it was a joke.. the bulbs were coated in a ******* blue color.. pointless.. on top of that, one of the ballasts failed.. which i heard is like 1 out of every 3 fails with that company.. and one of my friends had the shitty Ultinon 6000K's on his OEM HID ITR headlights and that **** looked weak.. the whole ground was tinted purple...
