I'm sort of new to the tuning world so if i sound like im an idiot it's probably because i am. First I'll tell you my set up, then ill tell you the problem im having. I have an 89 CRX HF it has a 90 Si Motor & Tranny, CAI, Catback Exhaust, and a Chipped ECU (RPT Drag Program). I've noticed that about a minute or two after i accelerate the engine starts to "buck" or jerk violently. It will continue to do this until i turn the car off and leave it off for about a day. If i dont do that though it will continue bucking. I can sometimes balance out the gas pedal to a low rpm (2000) and it will stop doing it as constantly. I should also mention that it will do this after i drive the car for about half an hour of normal (non-accelerated) driving.
A friend suggested the fuel filter, and i havent done that yet but i wanted to check with you guys first to see if you had any ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

well If not done yet id do a complete tune-up then see where your at.

 

Thanks, I'll try that, it hasnt been done yet i've been struggling with some brake probelms that just got fixed and havent been able to get around to it. Thanks again man.
