My friend told me that in Japan there is a version of the S2000 steering wheel that MOMO makes with a flattened bottom. I know that a direct bolt on is not possible with an S2000 steering wheel hub to a DC2R. I was wondering if the hubs were interchangeable. I'd be interested in having the smaller diametered S2000 wheel instead of the full sized Type R wheel. Does anyone have any knowledge of this??

from what i've read on here, its not just the hubs that aren't compatible, its the steering column and stuff, so a steering wheel swab would be a lot of trouble.

I do admit i am not an expert, but thats what i've read from some of the experts here

 

But if the hubs are removable. then all that is needed is the hub off of a JDM ITR.

 

The model you speak of is the S2000 Type V, You may be able to switch out the hubs of the two wheels but tracking down both might get very expensive.
