Anyone know where to buy a boot for your wheel?
those boots that are put on your car whenever u park in a wrong area or sumthing, those things where u have to go pay some parking violation to get it off your car.....hope someone knows
The ones that cover the wheel? I have seen them before on the net but they were going for like $700-$800. I wish I remember where it was that I saw them.

Are you trying to be like the cheakskate guy in Coyote Ugly that just parks his hooptie in a no-parking area, and then slaps on a dummy wheel lock that he carrys in his trunk, so he won't get a ticket because people will think he's already been busted for parking there?
lol

I actually have 2 of these boots and they work great (light, easy to install, inexpensive, strong as *****). I like that pitt bull tire lock will sell the same boots they sell for parking enforcement to regualr joes like me, so I can keep my car safe from thievery at the same time stopping the bastards with tow trucks from taking my car off to neverland....
My first post.... Hooray!!!
you should get one http://www.tirelock.com

do you know what kind of boot he sells? $500 is kinda steep,.... I am all about the boots though, and am always interested in diff kinds. I think pitbull tirelock has em down to like $300 or something now . They are pretty burly. It looks awesome on my wife's caddilac when we are parked on the street in Manhattan.

Naw,... rims stay pristine,... theres a cool rubber coating on the inside of the lug blocker and on the tips of the caliper lock itself,.. so no scratch scratchy,.. if it did,... id freak!
Im telling you , this is the wave of the future. I saw a humvee with one on it in a parking lot at a trade show in Denver ( crazy car thief rings in Denver),.. dude had outfitted his boot with all these skater stickers and stuff. It certainly maintains peace of mind.
I just wonder how long until thieves hit the road with a gas power angle grinder for just these kinds of situations?? hehe. Until then, this is the only way to be 99.999% assured your vehicle is staying where you left it.

how would that help against being towed? All that have to do is drop the claw and raise your car up and their off. it doesn't matter whether they get your tire or the boot as long as there's something. Unless you got two for front and back....

If you park normal, and put the boot on a front tire, theres no way for them to lift the front of the car unless the space directly in front of you is empty.
