Default Newspaper?

Hey, i've heard it's good to use newspaper instead of paper towels to clean your windows? Why is this?

does it have to be black and white? what if you use a piece of newspaper with a color picture on it? Would that leave ink all over your window? HAHA!

Using newspaper has been an old trick for ages now. People at restaraunts often use newspaper to clean their shop windows. I think i read somewhere that the ink has a polishing agent for windows. I've been using newspaper recently, w/ windex, and it leaves a streak-free shine.
