Hey guys....Got my 90 Accord LX 4dr Power locks. The right front passenger side interior door handle housing is busted so I bought a new one but I'm not too sure how to take off the current broken one and attach this new one. If someone could give me as detailed instructions as possible on how to do this I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

i would recommend investing $20 in a chiltons or helms manual from your local parts store

While this is the correct answer ill give ya the quick one....


There is a plastic tab/trim piece in the center of the door handle, remove that, remove the phillips screw thats now exposed. the handle will slide out to the right, its kind of tricky, but it slides to the right and pulls out. there will be a wire harness under it for the power lock, and the linkage for the door latch release...Be sure you dont lose the linkage as its a bitch to find again. also, be sure your new latch has the plastic o ring that attached the linkage to the handle, if it doesnt, take the one from the old handle, if this piece is missing, the linkage will fall out of the handle. installation is reverse of reomval.
