Default GM Synchromesh (friction Modified) in non-lsd?

Can i use to possibly eliminate some pestering grinds from old age and the previous owner.

My transmission currently is NOT LSD equipt.

Will it damage anything? If so why?

why get friction modified then if you don't have an lsd, it probably won't help or hurt your tranny. Just get regular gm synchromesh

gm synchromesh removed my 3rd and high speed 5th grind, usually people only use the friction modified if they have an lsd to help prevent clutch where on it.
