Hey just curious whether any of you had problems after the swap with an H22A (incl. ecu, tranny, and engine)? any major problems? i know this is a dumb question but what does the H22 redline at?

 

redlines at 7200... i havnt swapped yet so i cant help you any further than that...

 

I have put almost 30K miles on my H22 swap from Hmotorsonline. Engine runs strong and hard. Before you install the engine, it is in your best interests to do some basic maintenance items, such as, NEW timing, balance shaft, alt/AC, and power steering belts, water pump, clutch and flywheel, plugs & wires, cap & rotor. These are the biggies - others can be done before the engine goes in as well.

Just to give you an idea. If you have a reputable shop do the swap, it should be just as good as a daily driver before the swap.

 

if you put it in your 94 it bolts right in , but you have to make a bracket for the ac compressor, or atleast i did
