Default CRX Carpet in a Hatchback??? Does it fit, I can't find an answer

Does anyone know for sure if CRX carpet would fit in a hatchback. I can get the carpet from a friend but I am not sure if it is going to fit. I searched and I found out that it would be "close" but I am sure someone has done it or atleast tried. Thanks in advance for you help. The carpet from the CRX is out of a 91 and my hatchback is a 91 too.

Doubt it. Almost nothing on the 2 cars match up interior-wise. Don't even waste your time.

BTW why civic carpet? Why not R33 carpet?

well you are wrong about the interior matchups, that is why the dash(not the console) and seats match up. It was a legitimate question, the carpet stops right below the back seats and it stops right below the cargo cover in the back of a CRX which looks nearly the same length. This is the **** I hate about HT because everyone is quick to give **** out but not tech answers.....why the hell you think it is called Honda-Tech!?!?!?!?!

I don't know about dash, but I do know the seats are not interchangeable.
(I just asked Gabe_ cause I thought I might be on crack..)
NO they are not interchangeable
efhOndadOtcOm (1:07:01 AM): but you can make it work with a little modification

How was my saying "no" not a tech answer? You asked a question and I said no.. Too hard to understand? I suggest you use an R33 carpet cause you're own damn name says "r33 civic" if you don't use R33 parts, you would have to change your stupid name.

the seats and dash are interchangable with slight modification, I have seen it done! That is what I was asking is if the carpet would fit with possible modification. R33CIVIC is for my other car jackass...I have a ED for my beater. Do you use ^jefs0ng parts on your car, know it is just a name!

Can I ask what R33 means for your ED? Is it a company that makes parts for it?
^jefs0ng isn't just a name, it's my name with a little tweakz0r in it.

And yes slight modifications are required. That doesn't mean they are interchangeable.

I told you it had nothing to do with my beater...it is about my other car. Interchangeable meaning that that can be used on other cars, like an integra console in an ED. Whatever, you guys just thought you are cool and wanted to be a post ***** and just write some stupid **** in the thread. Obviously it is your name, what the **** else would be Jeff Song...I don't understand what the **** my name has anything to do with it.

and to the other Dveloped...."the hummer floor mats are not interchangeable"

Tech is about knowledge, something use guys lack so you just posted something stupid to be a post *****.

Hmm... I have a Civic dash in my CRX, sucks that my sunroof button doesn't have the tilt function anymore.

I'd like to know if it would fit also. If it's free you should just give it a try. Is it really to much work to try and swap carpets?

yeah, it is free so I am gonna give it a shot because my carpet now is just kinda torn up. I just didn't feel like taking the time to take it out of the CRX and then put to put it in my hatch but I guess I will.
