Hey everyone...um i need to get my hands on the valve cover gasket and the O-rings under the valve cover where the sparkplugs are...they also call them grommets i think. I was told that they come in a set called a head gasket set.

I called my dealer for a head gasket set and they are charging me 356.40 CANADIAN DOLLARS.

Does all this sound good to you guys?

 

Defintitely not.

You need a valve cover gasket set...valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets/grommets. MUCH cheaper.

 

Dealers do sell the valve cover gasket seperately.

Approximate prices:
Valve cover gasket: $8.00-$16.00 each
Spark Plug gaskets: $1.50-$3.50 each
