Default Braking Problem coming down from high speeds

When I'm slowing down somewhat quickly from being above about 80 mph, the steering wheel vibrates much harder than what it normally would. I was wondering if anybody knows if this is normal or if there is a problem anywhere. Could it possibly be slightly warped discs? I have a 96 LX Accord. Thanks for any help.

sounds like warped rotors. get them machined down, or some new brembo blanks if you want an OEM replacement.

Could be the rotors like skabone said or like J-dog said check your pads sometimes you get almost flat spots in the pad which can cause the steering wheels to shake..is the petal shaking too...If not it could be tires out of balance too

Exactly, check your fluid levels, pads and rotors....if its not any of those rotate and or balance your tires

I've got the genuine honda replacement rotors and pads, so i'll make sure to check the fluid and maybe add a big(ger) break kit to the to-do list... thanks alot

It sounds liek warped rotors which would lead to uneven wearing of brake pads as well. So you might want to replace the pads the same time you are replacing/resurfacing the rotors.
