A friend is buying some JUN3 cams and asked me about the markings on the cams to determine if they are legit ..

The intake cam has what looks like : H003 and 1010
The exhaust cam has what looks like : H003 and 1004

Can someone please confirm/deny that these are JUN3s for B18 ??

 

Im my JUN catalog it shows :Jun 3 , Ex: 1004M-H103, IN: 1004M-H003

 

I saw those same number on the JUN site.. The H003/1010 is what is worrying me.. I think it should be H103/1004..

 

Well i have the 2003 catalog that's what it says, Usually they don;t change part numbers

Why would that be? Edit: I just checked my boxes and those are the correct numbers.

 

Yeah, that is just weird.. These are definitely VTEC cams (3-lobes on each valve) and JUN doesn't make regrinds or custom jobs that I know of .. Maybe this cam was the one that was made Friday afternoon 5 minutes before closing ?? Maybe they scribbled it incorrectly by mistake ?? Weird .. totally weird ..

 

i hope so... What do they say? Tell me the FULL thing whatever you can read just like it says.
