Default what to use to clean tranny and block???

I'm trying to clean the tranny and block what do you guys use to clean all the grim and **** of them???? what worked for you? any pics before and after. TIA Rob

Gunk, and brake cleaner did it for me... Simple green after the install...

i've used gunk...that **** sucks.

i usually use brake cleaner or simple green... depends on what the brake cleaner can get on.

gunk is ok. i use some 78cent walmart engine degreaser or simple green. spray some on and let it sit there for awhile...then scrub away...and then hose it down with water. repeat process as many times as ya want! good luck.

I just use Simple Green, works good! I used to use that gunk stuff but it smells pretty bad and it can discolor things.

I put my engines/trannys in the steam cleaner at work ......lol Im so spoiled....

Otherwise yeah Id use simple green or anytime of degreaser and a sos pad then go over it with a reg. towel later.

I was told simple green too. Untill i saw a post some where, that its not good for aluminum...

any kind of dregreaser should work .. the key its on scrubin the **** out of them ... yes you are going to get tired and fustraded but it would be worth it ... use some kind of thin wire brush.. to brush of the thick grease

no soap. no need at 1800psi
