ZC Dohc Cam Gears (searched)
I have a Crx that I bought with AEM Cam gears on a Dohc ZC. They are saet at zero degrees, but my friend told me they aren't made for the motor, and are actually from an B series. Anyone tell me how far off they are from the true Zero setting, or approx. where I need to set them to get back to zero. The car pulls good now, but it seems to have some valleys in the power curve... let me know if anyone knows?
whether you are out of time depends on how they were installed - marks on the B16 gears are one tooth off from the ZC gears - if this was taken into account when they were installed, they would be right
dude you can run like 10 degrees off, its called advancing or retarding the timing i doubt you would even notice if someone broke into your car at night and set your timing back to 0
