hey guys I have a 97 ex...I have the door popper kit already (not installed) anyway I want to shave the molding but from what I can tell it's a pretty deep groove once they come off. I have heard if you try to tack metal on there it can possibly damage the door. It will get to hot a just leave holes...any suggestion would be appreciated.

A body shop should be able to shave the molding for you...
