Default pics of my ITB's/homemade header ...copy of ef-honda post.

heres some pics.....mind you the header was welded primarily by myself, not my brother,(mainly for those of you who are buying exhausts from my brother) thats why the welds look not-so-hot.......hey, ya gotta learn sometime. the header is now high-temp black powdercoated and the car should run tommorrow night. thanks for looking dudes. go easy on my header welds..........hahaha

yeah, i just whipped the header over the course of a long weekend basically. my next design (this is my 2nd make of this header) will be TIG welded.....its so much better......but MIG is quick and efficient and easy, so i did that. its a function think, not a fashion think.....but it will look fine wrapped up. looks SO much better than that shot now, its been cleaned up, had the flange notched, and i just got it back from the coating place, its not hightemp black.....so much cleaner.

my last header was mig'd and it worked fine......for a LONG Time, i made that one too, but i had my brother weld it up. my brother did about half the welds on mine, the downpipe, etc, everything you cant see......oh well.

I just want to say first off, is that good job on the work, most people wouldnt even be able to pull anything off like that.

My question about the headers are, did you go with that twisted design just for looks, or are those actually equal length? Sorry I had to ask, but I didnt see anything mentioned about it.

Don't worry about the looks........as long as it works. That's more than some ppl could do. Mad props for trying your own. Like someone said above" You gotta start somewhere". Good job!!

i went with that design for the way it works........and it looks hot. the tubes are equal length (or as close to perfect as i could get them). it worked great, the car ran on friday night, and it had throttle response like a crotch rocket.
