Race Headers and CEL's
I remember hearing that using a race header will give you a CEL, I'm not sure if that depending on which header you get. I'm getting a good deal on a JR race header and am wondering if straight-away-installed if it's going to throw me a CEL or not. If it does, would an O2 sim help that very much, if at all really? I've also heard that the reliability of the O2 sims are less than admirable. Just trying to get some info from you all, any valuable input would be a big
Thanks everyone.

if you run a highflow cat u shouldn't throw a CEL, otherwise yeah u'll need a 02sim, casper electronics has them

Run without O2 sensors and get the header. I bought my car used with custom exhaust from the downpipe back and no O2 sensors. The CEL is on, but the car runs exceptional.
I would highly recommend getting the casper o2 sensor. If you run your car with the cel on 24/7 while using the stock 02 sensor the car tends to read that the car is running to rich I believe and begins to lean the fuel out thus making you lose power along with chances of messing your engine up by running to lean.
