Hey guys, I currently own a 98 HX like in my sig. but due to my car being broken into twice in the last 6 weeks I am looking to sell the civic. I am going to buy another Tacoma and look at getting a crx. The problem I am having is that I am use to obd 2. So I am asking what set-ups everyone is running in your crx's such as engine, tranny, suspension, etc. If you could tell me your preference and experiences with your set-ups it would help me greatly.
Thanks
Thanks
I have a 1990 CRX, d15b2 block, d16 head and interals, bored out throttle body, aem cold air intake, DC header, gutted cat, 1991 CRX Si trans with LSD and uhhhh....i think thats it?
CRX is the way to go

if i were to do it all over again. i would buy a complete hydro b16a or b18c depending on the money situation using the Hasport hydro mount kit. and use a obd1 jumper. this way u dont have to deal with getting a tranny that grinds which is far too common, along with the worn out distributors. etc etc
i have a jdm b18c with a s1 cable tranny, using all obdo electronics. also tried the obd1 stuff. The tranny is always whut im worried about, its perfect now but if it ever gives out im SOL cause parts arent easily available and hard to find good replacements.

Hey, They're a blast, I had a 94 LS with nitrous, & ended up selling the LS to get a CRX HF. Since last year i installed a US B18c5 motor w/ Hasport mounts & hydro conversion kit, Neuspeed race springs w/ tokico adj shocks, & 15" rota's. My integra didnt even compare to the handling that this car has. I say go with the CRX

I got a refereed single cam vtec 88 crx si. it's semi built and I'll be going turbo really soon (already got the kit waiting on a few things) I'm aiming for 200 WHP. Oh btw - it will be "legal" since im using the greddy turbo kit on my rex, and my engine bay is considered to be the same as a 92-95 civic ex. Yeah, crxes are pretty cool. I should hit 13's easy.
