Default Need help from someone using Zex nitrous

Ok, i've had my Zex dry kit for a while now but i just found out that the kit wasn't installed 100% right which was leading to lean a/f ratios.

The person who put in my kit used "T" joints on the two vacuum lines that come with the kit. I called Zex and they say there should be NO "T" connectors. My problem is I can't figure out if i've got the vacuum hoses installed correctly now because it actually feels worse when i hit the nitrous. I've got a line going from my fuel pressure regulator directly to the nitrous box port marked regulator. Then i have a line going from the frontof the intake manifold into the nitrous box on the port marked Intake. Does this sound right???

Can someone please help, it would be especially helpful if you had pictures of the vacuum hoses.

A Vacuum line should be coming out of the Intake manifold, going INTO the "Intake" ZEX box

A Vacuum line coming out of the "Fuel Regulator" ZEX box going to the top of the Fuel pressure Regulator

So you should have two separte Vacuum lines total.. Intake Manifold to Intake ZEX
and Fuel Pressure Regulator to Fuel Zex

There should be No T's Used at all..

who ever installed it must have been a First class idiot.. zex kits are the easiest kits on the market, i can install them blind folded with no arms

That's how i have it now. Only thing i'm unsure of is where on the intake manifold the vacuum hose goes to, is it on the front where the line from the fuel pressure regulator used to be, or one of the unused ones on the back?

If it's also hooked up right i can't explain why it feels worse now then when it was hooked up using the Ts.

when i installed my Zex kit.. i used the vacuum line on the front of the intake manifold. (old source for FPR)

im not sure why you feel that n2o feels worst.. perhaps the bottle is low? and it doesnt have the same kick?

b/c bottle pressure plays a big role on n2o performance.. if you dont have a bottle warmer i would suggest getting it.. its very GRRRREEEAT

Alright, I figured it out. Apparently the nitrous nozzle popped completely off of the intake which was causing the car to run pure rich (hence the bogging in performance). I just got back from the dyno and my a/f ratios are perfect now after fixing the vacuum lines and nitrous nozzle.
