Default would this exhaust setup work?

hey, im looking into buying a header, not sure which one, but one with a 2.5 in collector, then a carsound 2.5 cat. converter, and a fujitsubo rm01a? would this all bolt up straight? any input on what i should and shouldn't do? oh and what about 4-1 vs. 4-2-1 header if i plan on supercharging? -thanks for the help

Nice choice for an exhaust. I'm pretty positive the exhaust will fit with that cat, but about the headers, go with JDM ITR, 2.5 collector also and it should bolt right into the cat.

It sounds alright to me, there is a lot of 2.5 collector headers on the market. As for which design is better, well the 4-1 provides better top end, and 4-2-1 provides better low to mid-range. If you are supercharging then you will already have a strong low-mid-and upper. It is gonna depend more on what plans do you have for this car. Other than that, it sounds like a real mean setup.

It depends, do you have an LS, a GSR, or an ITR? For an ITR or GSR I'd run just a JDM DC 4-1 header, for an LS, I'd look at the Comptech Race header, and forego the cat.

The DC JDM header sports a 2.5 collector, you should be fine.

yea the DC jdm header is nice b/c its stainless, but it sits relativly lower to the ground=bad ground clearance over the JDM ITR 4-1. i have and would prefer the jdm ITR 4-1 b/c you can get a bash guard plate from Fastlineperformance.com, to protect it from any dents or encounter with the street! plus the jdm ITR 4-1 sits higher from the ground.
