i have a gsr w/ jus intake..... wuts the fastest route to hittin 14's in 1/4??

 

this topic has been beaten to death. do a search for a gsr build up as its been covered already

 

after reading your sig havin a body kit and **** will do nothin but hurt

 

the body kit shouldnt, but the wheels will hurt for sure

Pretty much.

 

Put your car on a diet, starting with the wheels. That should get you started.

 

There is a search function. It's not hard at all to get into the 14s. Most people get into the 14s with some decent tires and the 3 simple bolt ons. Intake, exhaust, and header. If that don't help, some camshafts should help you get to your desired time.

 

I maintain that for zero dollars, you can run 14's. All you need is weight reduction, and lots of it.

but onto the topic, ull help urself out a lot more by learning how to drive...basic bolt-ons, some weight reduction and practice ur driving techniques, and u should be fine!

 

thanx alot guys. ya kit and bondo got some weight i kno! but i got some steely's i use for track and i can drive it to its best potential. damn weight....... better off gettin a new teg then huh ........ but if i did, i'd def. go turbo....... LS or GSR?? i kno low compression is better, but u can make equal power w/ more compression and less boost if im not mistakin. idk i read it somewhere..? n e clues?

it's easy,with the basic bolt ons:i/h/e,no cat,skunk im.,fpr and a good driver,this is possible!!

 

Yah my boys asked me to come with them to track end of this month to Englishtown, NJ. I laughed. My cars stock basically(just custom cat and springs), I'd just make a fool of myself I was thinking maybe I should go just to see how my car runs stock, then come back near the end of summer and see the difference after some mods...???

 

getting into the 14s in a stock GSR is easy- just know how to drive, and use slicks...

 

A good friend of mine ran a 14.6 with just an intake in a 2000 gsr.
