Im a noob to honda's. I currently have an mx6 but want to buy a crx and do an engine swap. Whats a good price for an early model crx, then wat is a good price for a better engine? I really don't know anything about these cars yet, so any help would be cool.

if you are already certain you are doing an engine swap try and find an 88-89 HF model(lighter than the Si model but with a horrible stock engine..not a problem if you are swapping)prices vary depending on condition but generally run about $2-2.5k in decent shape without a swap already performed on it yet...motor prices vary depending on what you want to go with of course..first gen B16 swap about $1500 or a ZC would cost a little less...personally i would go with the LS swap and build it and boost it later(my plans when money allows on my sad slow 89HF )this forum can and will answer any question you will have over time with your CRX!!! good luck man and..use the SEARCH feature on here and..you WILL gain knowledge my friend..just look for a clean one..test drive it and..buy that puppy if it feels right
