ls swap to crx..my cat is too low help!!!!
i just did a swap on my 90 crx. the swap was a 96 b18b engine. it has a dc headers on it but with the swap the headers came too long and too low. my friend told me that the headers was from a CRV. does it make a difference if i get the right headers for my engine or is it all the same??? my catalitic is sitting about 3-4 inches off the ground. if i find a stock exhaust manifold would it work better or is there somthing wrong with my swap...my car is a 90 crx si with a 96 b18b swap with a greddy catback exhaust for the crx...if u have any suggestions pls email me at rbaisa3@comcast.net
i did not say i used a crx headers. i used a CRV headers.....and the mounts are from hcp mounts for the b series....so i got everything right except that my headers are sitting low....so my cat is low. The question was if the crv headers is any different from the ls dc headers...For the people who knows their stuff pls let me know what i did wrong....
Hasport makes a header for B series in EF body. I have a B16 with stock exhaust manifold that's barely off the ground.
I think it's just how low the motor sits....
How low is your car?? That may be the solution....raise your car. That's what I need to do, but I won't cause I love my car low. LOL!~
