Im boosting my bitch within the next week and Ive decided to go ahead and get a new clutch.. so presuade me, tell me what one to get..

I was just think of ACT stage 2.. but Im not sure, Im gona be running 240-50 WHP, and my car is a track car for solo 1 and 2 so..

Just put an Exedy Organic and 9lb flywheel on mine today and in the limited time I have driven it, I love it. Might want to check out the Exedy Cerametallic Clutch. Also check out coximport.com, they have Exedy stuff pretty damn cheap. Picked up my Clutch and flywheel for 545 shipped to my door. Good luck.

ACT doesnt come in stages, but i would recommend my ACT clutch to anyone...its the heavy duty pressure plate with organic street disc...hdss

While ur at it y not get a lightened flywheel, i mean if u plan on doing both y not doin it at the same time and save u the trouble for takin the tranny out twice..

 

i was looking around for ages for my new clutch/flywheel combo. the honda-tech consensus seems to lean away from exedy.
the problem is that the people i know that have some of the best daily driven, seriously quick integras and civics in australia are using exedy clutches. in the end, i went with the advice of the best honda tuner i know and bought a toda flywheel and exedy sprung centre, 3 puck, cerametallic clutch kit.

asking on the forums is great and all, but i found waaay too much conflicting information. so i went for the face to face option with some people i respected in the car community.

i'll have it installed by tomorrow i hope

 

The ACT HD pressure plates are too stiff IMO. I like Clutchmasters

 

If you're poor, get an ACT setup. If you're rich, get an ATS Carbon setup.

You really should give my clutch a try. Clutch specialties puts out great clutches, comparable to any name brand out there if not better. Beats the Price tag by a lot to.
I have killer prices right now and many different set ups

 

i thought the xtss was the heavy duty preasure plate my bro has that one and im getting the hdss with the 7.5 pound fidanza flywheel did you notice a huge differece in power with the plywheel?
edit: nevermind xt is the xtreme pressure plate

 

Everyone that i know on g2ic.com with an upgraded clutch is running the exedy organic. I've driven three cars with that clutch installed, and if i were to upgrade mine, thats definately what i'd go with.

 

I had excedy organic clutch on mine and i loved it. Pressure plate feels like stock and grips like **** and you can find them on e-bay for good price.

 

exedy clutch here.. good for daily driving.. and it does grip like a **** when u let it loose.

i got a ACT 6 puck wit a HD plate... dont know the model number. but my car is bone stock and its not that bad for daily, it grabs like a ****... i love it. i wanna boost too, but when i do i plan on gettin a 4 puck.

i dont reccomend gettin a ACT street clutch cuz its juss a lil better than a stock clutch... well thats wat i was told when i shoppin around for a clutch.

didnt look into any other brands so sorry i can give u input on other brands.

i have the act hdss and fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel...i love my combo!

 

did you feel alot more power with that set up im getting that exact one
