my car is cursed.
Ok first all the bolts for my exhaust were rusted and i had to pay extra for a shop to cut all the old bolts off from the headers back, now my rear lower control arm bushings are stuck. What do I do? I was told that i need new rear lower control arms. Can anyone tell me where to buy those. I bought a set of kyb agx shocks and GC coilovers. I was going to get those put in but now i have this problem. The front fork bolt to let the fork out is probably seazed out too. What should i do about that. Thanks
I'm guessing by your sig. that your car is a 94....and, even on my 98 I have had bolts that were seized and rusty. There isn't too much you can do to aviod it. It happens over time.
Use lots of penetrating oil when you're going to remove the bolts. And, if you want to keep them from seizing up again, put some anti-seize on the threads of 'em when you reinstall them.

Rear lower control arm bolts are a common problem. Do a search, there are many different ways to tackle this. You can get new bushings pressed in while on the car so you will not need new control arms. Call around to shops that work on Hondas and they'll know what to do.
The fronts don't have the problem with rust, you should be good to go.

I heard from somewhere that most integras from the east coast are rusty and have problems similiar to yours. Due the weather storms you guys have over there....such as hurricanes??

Impact wrench is the best thing to use on suspension bolts. When I changed my suspension in 2002 on my 94, I used a 12V electric impact wrench and it got all the bolts off no problem. I did use lots of PB Blaster beforehand, as well.
ok ill just go at it again when i get the chance. Thanks. I hope i can get the rear lower control arms problem fixed. I also hope i can find a shop that can do it. Right now i don't know of any shops that will do these kind of things or specialize in hondas. I really could do it all myself if i could get the bolts out. I might just have to take the impact to the front left side again and try it. THanks.
