alright well i have a short ram intake right now and i was wondering if i picked up a 2 piece CAI w/ bybass valve for another car, is it possible if i hooked the bottom piece to my existing shortram intake?

 

Sure it is, I made my own CAI and made it a short ram recently. Since you already have a short ram, check the diameter of the piping, and order the appropriate sized U-bend from JCwhitney (they sell it as exhaust pipe but it will work fine). Then get the couplers and hose clamps and chop up the U-bend to make the extension. It should be obvious how much to cut and where once you have the piece.
