Does that wire on the oil psi sensor get lose sometimes? My light flickers, anyone else ever had this problem.

Yeah. gotta start at the most obvious first. maybe your pump is going bad, causing low oil pressure?

 

there was a thread on this yesterday, damn. Oil Pump probably going I'd suggest replacing it asap before it does go and you seize your motor.

 

pick up screen could be clogged.

I just spun a rod bearing last night...pick up screen clogged, etc

 

Pump is going south. First hand experience.

I hear ya.
Except I found out the bulb for my oil psi light was burned out after the pump went bad and I had to say bye bye to the two rods (1,4) that shot through the block.

 

wow the pump only has like 25k on it. Do they go bad at that low of milleage sometimes?

 

Not necessarily milage, but driving style, regular oil changes, maintance........ect, all effect oil pump life.

 

I do an oil change every 1500 miles. I need to get my oil psi gauge hooked up. That will tell me whats going on
