Default Suspension Question?

hey I am planning on buying some springs for my 92si lude, and im not sure what to buy. I am looking at the Skunk2 adjustable sleeved springs, because i would like to have the adjustability. BUt im not sure if i should just get springs and save the extra $$ for some struts down the line. any help would be appreciated

skunk 2 sleeves are ok. Ground controls are preferred though.

sleeves are good if you're going to cornerweight your car, and want the adjustability. not really necessary to "look slammed" nor is it practical to change ride height all the time.

I will say this I have groundcontrols and my friend has skunk2 both for a 4th gen and mine rides 10x better than his. Skunk2 seems to be really stiff.

i've got skunk2 on mine and they were the biggest waste of money. i would go with Koni yellow springs with KYB 5 way adjustable shocks...thats my next set-up.

If you want some Great/inexpensive coil-overs, check out Tein Basic.

i got skunk2 adjustables with kyb gr-2 in the front and stock shock in the back and then ride pretty clean to me
kind feels like stock a little; its not like those cheap break your neck setups

I agree with cottonwood. Sleeves whatever you call them now a days stink, they always have. There is no preload on the spring. Get some sort of aftermarket shock and lowering spring. Or a real coilover.
