searched for a while on this before i gave up and posted,
so as far as i know the SiR-G and SiR II came with a viscous LSD as an option and the type Rs came with a standard helical, what i want to know is what if any are the differeneces between the type R diffs, ie: 96ITR 98ITR and CTR.
-thanx for not flaming-

96, 97 ITRs came with taper bearings.
98+ used the now popular and more reliable (easier to set) "big ball bearing"
I don't recall what type of bearing came on my CTR LSD....but all in all, they are the same unit.

The LSD was only offered on the 90-00 Civic SiR2 and not the 90-00 SiR.
