Default 94 up shift linkage on a DA?

mine was bent out of shape so i pick up this one from a 94 up ls.. would i have any problems? i'm thinking no.. but i just want to make sure... the new ls one is a lot more beefier than my DA one..

i've heard of guys puting the g3 linkages in DA's and it fits fine. yes it is a lot beefier.

so will it work? because mine is all bent out of shape also and its causing poor gear engagemant and resulting in grinding gears.
