high octane gas
In other threads he is planning on building a H23 vtec with type-s pistons and .040 mill. He'll be pushing 12.8 CR.
Race gas: If you live at 6000' elevation you won't need to run race gas. no air to compress but if you are at sea level then the more octane is better than less octane. You can tune 12.8CR on 93 octane but I don't thnk that it will be easy.

actually my h23 vtec blew up i have an h22 im throwing in there so my compression will only be at like 11 8 1 correct. im using the same milled head but i just have a 2001 block with type s pistons...i should not have to many problems right?
hmmm i think if you have a good tuner and good engine managment system, you can get away with that much on pump gas.
But you have to keep in mind your gonna need two base maps one tuned with race gas, one with pump, so u can maximize the race gas at the track, instead of letting it go to waste while the engine is still tuned for pump gas.
