Default h23 swap in 94 accord : power steering

i tried to drive without power steering for a week now and it is really a bitch . however i couldnt find anything about hooking up power steering on the h23 in a 94 accord . i tried using the h23 bracket with the accord pump and line and it doesnt work . i didnt want to buy extra parts without first researching it . does anyone that has done this swap before know what parts i would need to hook up my power steering ?!

last time i chcked you just need the prelude bracket and everything else was fine. but i havent done the swap, i'm going to, but powersteering is not staying.

good luck! there are no good faq's for the h23 swap in 5th gens.

Use the Accord High pressure line and cut the end off near the PS pump. Use the H23 PS pump and the part of the high pressure line where it connects to the pump. Get the two TIG welded together. (look under welders in your phone book, should cost you about $40 to get it welded.)

This is the best/only way yo do this.

good! let me find this semi-complete list of stuff i gathered.

wires/sensors: all can be transfered from the f22b2 engine. same for the f22b1 except for the obvious vtec wires and sensors. h23 just has the knock sensor that needs to be ran to the new ecu. the one sensor that won't work is the IAT, the accord used a screw in, while the prelude doesn't. tps will fit, ect will fit, etc etc etc.

distributor/coil pack/ignition: need all the h23 stuff

mounts: need the prelude driver's side mount. will need to be shaved down to fit, exactly the same as the h22 swap. all other mounts will be fine!

axles: fseries axles will work with the h23 transmission

power steering: no clear answer yet, what i've gotten is use the prelude bracket and it will mount up fine, but since this swap is identical to the h22 swap, i guess you do have to cut and reweld one of the power steering lines. since power steering is worthless to me, i won't run into this problem.

parts needed so far: h23 engine, f/h transmission, h23 ecu, prelude ps bracket, prelude driver's side motor mount, wires y0. plenty of replcaement parts if necessary (i.e. axles, gaskets, tbelt, waterpump etc.)

so, in conclusion, the h23 swap is identical to the h22 swap except for the vtec wiring. fitment wise and wiring, they're the same. http://www.h22a.org is a good site for the swap, just ignore the vtec stuff. right now it's down, but just keep trying.

well that's what i have so far. hope it helps.
