Default fell asleep driving - now have some damage

I was going north on the turnpike and fell asleep for a second. Im lucky as hell, i coulda flipped if i went in the median of i95 or if i went right instead of left. I hit the cement divider on the left side. I only hit my wheel before i got it off the wall. I have hardcore curb damage on the front left and some on the back left wheel but no body damage. Im gonna have it checked by a shop tommorow, but i was wondering what anyone might think it is. When i turn the wheel left I hear a howling. Other than that and my whacked alignment, it drives fine

You weren't the same guy that was driving the 18 wheeler that flipped on 95 yesterday were you? JK

You're lucky that's all that got damaged. Hopefully it's just cosmetic. Get some rest bro.

Sometimes if there is a bad impact, your wheel bearings might crap out. They make a "howling" noise sometimes.

could be that you damaged the wheel bearing.

did you check your a-arms, control arms etc. etc. and mounting points for damage/signs of impact..? (all the supporting wheel bars) i had an encounter w/ a curb once and i ever so slightly bent the bars holding the tire/rotar assembly & i pushed back the mounting points on the frame

Alright, I had it checked up. They said they didn't know what was wrong, damn tire kingdom mechanic. They recommended i get new pads, rotors, and front calipers. I still gotta call and talk to the guy that looked at my car. I got an alignment done and the car pulls to the left. They said something's rubbing, prob my rotor. On the front corner of the rotor there's orange stuff. It's not on any of the other calipers. They said nothing was bent. Anyone have any ideas? Im planning on replacing the rotors and pads anyways. You really think i need new calipers? they seem to be braking fine.

It may also be your wheel bearing or cv joint... It would seam like a bump like that could damage either... When a car pulls to one side it is usually the cv joint...

same thing happend to me.. it doesnt take a lot to bend something in your suspension... i slid head on into a curb at around 15-20 mph.. right lower control arm was bent and so was the frame where the control arm bolted on to...
