Transmission bearings - noise when pushing in clutch
I hear a strange noise when I press in the clutch or when I let off the gas with the clutch in and the engine revs down quickly. I don't know whether it is a axle/cv problem or a transmission/clutch problem. I searched under transmission bearings and found no help. Please advise me.
i bet its the main tranny bearing, im going through the same problem right now. i repleace my throw out bearing and it still make the noise

if it start when clutch is out and stops when clutch is pushed in = Input shaft bearing....

do u mean when u step on ur clutch pedal there is a noise?
if so then its ur pilot bearing.
If u hear the noise even when you dont step on the clutch
then its ur throwout bearing.
do u hear it when ur in "N" when the engine is running?
try slowly stepping on the clutch pedal, if the noise slowly goes away, IT ur throw out bearing
to check if its ur axels, make left and right turnms to hear noise

mine make the noise in "N" when the clutch is out, if i put the clutch in it goes away. i know its not the TOB casue i just replaced it. so im pretty sure its the input shaft bearing
