I am in the process of building my motor and am wanting to get a new tranny......I know that the ITR tranny has a shorter gear ratio which is good for drag but the LS has longer gears for a better top speed....or am i just nuts and should stick with the GSR tranny?? any incite would be great thanks HT


or should I go with an APC tranny?......HAHA!j/k sorry APC DC2 has me cracking up all night long

 

Honestly, the best OEM B series tranny out there is the JDM ITR one. The ITR tranny's have multiple synchros on each gear for longevity, as well as great gear ratios. The JDM ITR tranny has the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear from a B16A, and 3rd and 4th from a GSR with a 4.785 final drive to top it all off.
