Default Ignitor.... is still good if your able to start the car?

My RPM (tach) started bouncing up and down every like 10-15sec.
Sometimes it even stalls and makes the car hesitate.

I want to know if I all i need to do is replace the CAP & ROTOR or should I replace the ingitor too?

I only ask cause I have MSD 6AL and I can start the car all the time w/out any problems.........

Thanks

yes, the ignitor could be bad and you still could be able to start the car.
Try taking the msd out and replacing cap and rotor

Or take it out and leave it out. They honestly don't do much anyways.
