valve springs
Hey, just curious, how much do those springs go for and how much would it cost to have them installed? That way when I get hondata #4 i can hit 8600 all the time or atleast more often.
the toda springs are like $400. If you are using the stock cams, then just get some S2K valve springs for like 100 bucks, since they are slightly stiffer then stock. As for install, you could probably do it yourself if you have the tools.
I don't think you'd necessarily want Toda valve springs with the stock or ITR cams, as they are designed for higher lift.
there are plenty of ppl running around with Hondata-4 and stock valvesprings without problems, I had it for 7 months; Hondata picked 8600 because they were comfortable that the stock valvetrain could handle it.
