very very quick question

Default very very quick question

ok my exhaust is kind of dirty and a little dull. i was wondering how i can get it to have that shine from when i first go it. what should i get and what steps to take? thanks

If the muffler is chrome you could use a chrome polish.

use some umm.. GS27? is that whats its called?? the scratch remover stuff? it polishes lots of metals too.. i used it to polish and take out small scratches from my n1..

they make polishes for it but i think that if you give it a thorough(sp) cleaning it should regain much of its luster

If its real shiny, mirror-like finish stainless, then chrome polish still works pretty good.

I know that this is going to sound a bit out there but you can use a steel wool pad. Now not just any old steel wool there is a certain code for it like"00" or "000" not sure. Maybe someone else may know exactly. Just a little soap and this special steel wool and viola!

2. PLEASE MAKE THE TITLE TO YOUR TOPICS VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT.

Titles with just "Question here..." or "who knows..." or "HELP NEEDED!!! probably won't garner enough interst from the people who might actually be best to answer your question. I see these type of threads sink rapidly and then the thread starter rips on H-T for sucking because nobody answered their question.
