i can't remember for sure but i think you have to use the mounting sleeve that should have come with your radio...
no brackets to screw too like some nissans and toyotas...

 

correct. most stereo's come with a mounting bracket.

they have a little lip that you slide in through the front. then there are little metal tabs that you bend up to hold it in there securely.

Then the stereo just slides right in and locks into place. real easy.

 

If you don't have this part then just stop by a local car stereo shop and ask them for a "Head Unit Can". This is what the head unit slides into and locks the stereo into place. You secure the can to your center console by bending the tabs as noted above in a previous post. The shops will usually sell you one for a couple of bucks. They always have a few lying around.
