what is different between the wiring is the distributor wiring any different

 

 

Other then that its basically the same thing...other then the fact the hf uses the egr..

 

everything is the same except the hf has EGR which you dont need to plug in unless you still got the HF motor which im sure you dont.

 

as you can see from the diagram, all of the wires are in different locations on the 2 harnesses - they will plug in, but HF will not work in Si and Si will not work in HF - you need to use the harness that matches your car - also notice that on the HF, the alternator wiring runs through this connector - on the Si it is in a different connector - if you use Si harness on HF, you will have the #2 injector connected to the EACV pin-out at the ECU, #1 injector connected to the alternator signal, #3 injector connected to the EGR lift valve sensor pin-out at the ECU, etc. - it will not run without the right harness
