what years are both cars?
you do realize your putting an OBD 0 engine into an OBD1 car right?
the engine should physically bolt right in, they are both D series. your going to have to use the del sol tranny though. CRX is a cable clutch, del sol is hydro.

the del sol is a 93 the a6 motor is a 91.
of course i know it is obd-0.
i am going to use the del sol engine harness as well as the intake manifold, dizzy and alternator. I am of course using the del sol hydro tranny. Alls i need to know are which mounts to use, as ive never put am EF d16 into a eg+

Check with your state laws first. In most states it is illegal to swap in an engine that is older than the chassis. The chances of anyone finding out are slim though, especially if your area does not require emissions testing and you always work on your own car.
You would use the del Sol mounts.
You would use the del Sol mounts.
the block mount on the cam gear side of the d16a will need to be changed for the sol one....then you can use the del sol drivers side mount.....the tranny mount is the same since its the same tranny.....same goes for the torque mount on the tranny side.....for the other torque mount, use the del sol ac bracket/compresor and it will work......
for the rear mount, use the del sol stuff....since you are using the tranny from the sol, the bracket you bolt up fine to the motor/tranny, and of course everything else is the same.....
seems to me like a good HC car...hehe

Its not built yet. I have some JE SRP 9:1 slugs and some Eagle H beam rods on there way
As far as emissions and what not, my state doesnt do that kind of stuff, and the cops are to stupid to know the year of the motor, so that wont be a problem.
